In excess of 200 contracts, for maintenance or capital dredging, together with associated surveys and investigations, have been successfully completed under the direction of the Partnership.

Although many of the contract-related activities are very specialised, we are able to provide a very competitive service, insuring contractors perform as required and complete within budget.

The above diagrams show pre and post-dredge isopach charts from an emergency dredging campaign arranged and supervised by the Partnership for a major UK port. Rapid clearance of the berth was required to facilitate the berthing of a VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) that was already in passage. All preliminary activities, including sourcing a suitable dredger, negotiating terms of contract, estimating final cost and obtaining a disposal licence, were completed within two weeks. Following instructions to proceed, all dredging and associated survey investigations were completed within a further two weeks, 12 hours before the earlier than expected arrival of the VLCC vessel.
