The Partnership was formed by Anthony Bates in 1976 to fulfil the needs of clients who require assessment, or implementation of dredging works, or associated coastal engineering, but lack the necessary expertise and resources in house.

The Partnership specialises in all aspects of dredging works and has a long established and diverse client base, including:

Whilst more than 70% of workload is traditionally in the UK and Ireland, the remainder of projects have been completed overseas in more than 20 countries. The office is based in an idyllic rural setting in the heart of Somerset, UK. The close proximity to the city of Bristol, Bristol International Airport and the M5 motorway means that there is easy access by air, rail and by road.
